[The recent events had certainly left a lot for people to think about. Naruto is no different, the past few days spent comparing fake memories with the real thing. Mostly he was hung up on how normal the fake life had seemed, a (fake) lifetime spent with a huge, loving family he had never had until arriving in this place.

Out of everything though, there is one question that plagues him the most. Here it comes...]

So even though that place was fake, and the things we remembered from it aren't really real, we're not still like.... legally married or anything, right? Right?

I don't think I'm even old enough to be married y'know!

[YUP. Guess who has been carefully avoiding Tenten ever since things went back to normal. Apparently he can act like a proper ninja when he wants to. He is finally manning-up to face reality though.]

[Actually he isn't, but he had something else he wanted to ask over the journals, so figured he would just throw that in too.]

...Has anyone seen Sakura-chan?


[Action]

[Since Luceti returned to normal, Naruto hasn't been that sociable. Most of his time has been spent at home aside from the occasional trip out into the woods to train or to check in on people close to him that were not fake wives or family members.

Today though, he can be found behind the counter of Shikamaru's convenience store. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing still and with Shikamaru and Masaomi both away, the fate of Luceti's #1 Store™ had been left to the combined efforts of Korra and Naruto.

If it is still standing by the end of the week, it shall be a miracle.]

Oh, it's no problem... I don't even really remember your name - we talked a little when you first showed up with your folks.

[He says this very sheepishly]

And yeah, I don't remember either. That was ages ago.

Yeah, I guess it was. [And he snorts at this before turning to get his popsicle and once he does, turning back]

So how've you been since?

Eh, okay I guess. Apart from all that... stuff last week, y'know? [M..ARRIED...HA...HA...]

[rashness]

Y...yeah, that was definitely some stuff. [He frowns a little] I still haven't really talked to everyone I oughta.

[believeit]

Me neither. It's awkard. So I'm just gonna stay here instead.

[Do some "work" and drink Mountain Dew instead of facing girls, sounds like a plan.]

[rashness]

I just don't know where any of 'em live normally... except one, I guess. And it doesn't seem like a thing to call someone over the book about.

[So it's a catch 22, basically]

Yeah. I know most of mine but this girl was my kid? I only spoke to her once before, but now it's like.. I dunno. "Hi, I was your Dad for a while?"

Way too weird.

[He sighs, looking around the shop for a moment.

Aha.]

Oi, you wanna slurpee? They're really good. [So much better than fake families.]

[rashness]

[He was a dad.

Uh, sure. What flavors are there?

[SO weird.]

There's uh.. Mountain Dew, then an orange one... then uh.. I think it's Rasberry? I dunno, I forgot.

[rashness]

Shouldn't you know that?

[ whaat... ]

[believeit]

I do know it! Like I said it's just.. the other one! It don't matter, the Mountain one is the best one anyway. [So there.]

[rashness]

If you don't know what the others are, how can you know that it's the best?!

[believeit]

BECAUSE. I tried 'em all, and that one's the best!

[rashness]

Fine, then I'll have some of it!

Good! [HUFF. It passes enough though, and he gets up to go pour out one of the slushies. Mountain Dew since it is officially the best one. After it's poured, Naruto dumps it down on the counter in front of Rin.]

There you go.

Oi, hold up - if you're workin' in food, you've gotta be more presentable than this.

[And this is something he is serious about. ... A little Chouji-ish, maybe. He takes the slushie all the same but he goes to inspect the cup for drips from the guy's haphazard handling]

I'm not working in food, I'm working in the shop. [It's a difference. Apparently.]

Plus, I got you your drink, didn't I? [What did he do wrong??]

There's still service to consider, man! Even I know that!

I did serve you!

[HE GOT THE DRINK AND PUT IT DOWN. HE SERVED.]

You could've been more excited about it!

Who's gonna get excited over a drink?

People in the service industry.

Well I'm not in the service industry am I. I just work in Shikamaru's shop.

And the guy opened up a convenience store!

[With the drink in one hand, and possibly even slurping on it, he makes a dramatic point over at him]
