[二] Audio / Action

[The recent events had certainly left a lot for people to think about. Naruto is no different, the past few days spent comparing fake memories with the real thing. Mostly he was hung up on how normal the fake life had seemed, a (fake) lifetime spent with a huge, loving family he had never had until arriving in this place.

Out of everything though, there is one question that plagues him the most. Here it comes...]

So even though that place was fake, and the things we remembered from it aren't really real, we're not still like.... legally married or anything, right? Right?

I don't think I'm even old enough to be married y'know!

[YUP. Guess who has been carefully avoiding Tenten ever since things went back to normal. Apparently he can act like a proper ninja when he wants to. He is finally manning-up to face reality though.]

[Actually he isn't, but he had something else he wanted to ask over the journals, so figured he would just throw that in too.]

...Has anyone seen Sakura-chan?


[Action]

[Since Luceti returned to normal, Naruto hasn't been that sociable. Most of his time has been spent at home aside from the occasional trip out into the woods to train or to check in on people close to him that were not fake wives or family members.

Today though, he can be found behind the counter of Shikamaru's convenience store. He has absolutely no idea what he is doing still and with Shikamaru and Masaomi both away, the fate of Luceti's #1 Store™ had been left to the combined efforts of Korra and Naruto.

If it is still standing by the end of the week, it shall be a miracle.]

[It's an hour after the message goes out that Rock Lee runs to see Naruto at the convenience store, crying tears of youth.

Actually, he winds up running directly into the door, headfirst, and spends a moment nursing his head on the ground. And then he lets out a cry.]

SAKURA-SAAAAAAAAAN!

[Action]

[What the hell is that noise? Naruto's up and rushing to the door to see what the hell just knocked into it.

And there he finds Lee, just in time to hear him call out for Sakura. THat's.. really loud, and he seems upset.

Something must have happened to her.]

BUSHY-BROWS! What about Sakura-chan?!

[Action]

[He rises to his feet and sniffs as he wipes his some tears from his eyes.]

Naruto-kun! As you said... I tried to find Sakura-san. I looked everywhere.

[He pauses, before he shouts.]

BUT SHE IS GONE!

[Kushina lets his self-inflicted house arrest go on for a couple days but then she starts to grow a bit worried

so wherever he is in the house, she finds him and frog-marches him to the door]

Come on, Naruto. We're going outside today.

[Doing as he is told because he doesn't dare backtalk his Mom let's be real.

Though why do they have to go outside?]

You're only legally married if a ceremony happened, right?

You were married in your false memories, so no real ceremony happened. I think the only people who have to worry are the ones who got married during that time.

No. That would be really unlucky though! [Suddenly Chouji doesn't seem to mind his own mixed up feelings nearly as much, knowing how much worse it could have been.]

I haven't seen her yet either. I fear she's gone home.

[It's a convenience store. This is where he gets popsicles. But he comes in and sees... Naruto, behind the counter? Rin pauses, turns, and-]

Yeah! Shikamaru knows potential when he sees it! [Some time that excuse will actually work.]

I'd take what happened with a huge grain of salt, unless you actually want that marriage to count for something.

[Heh... There's a thought. Riku pauses for a few moments. After all, he wound up hitched with someone he already cares for. What's he supposed to think now?

Anyway, Luceti's not really the place to worry about legal issues. We don't really have laws, so it's not like you have to file a divorce or anything.

Of course I don't want it to count!! [That was said rather fast and loudly, but it's mostly embarrassing more than anything else.]

Are there really no laws though? [Not that he bothered to even pay attention or find out beforehand anyway...]

[It's going to be a few days before he finally gets his nerves together and comes to find Naruto, but when he does it's going to be while Naruto is off training and not while he's around a lot of people.

So, this is going to be tricky... Ha...things he never intended to tell his kohai...]

[Hearing a familiar voice call his name, and not one he is intentionally avoiding, Naruto turns to greet Nagato with a grin.]

Nagato! How's it going?

[Here's Dad doing the chores when he chances upon this entry you've posted, dear bbramencakes. So he'll go ahead and find you instead of conversing through the journals.]

You don't have to worry about it, Naruto. It was just one of those experiments. It'd be too soon for you to marry anyone, anyway.

[Nope, no running off to marry someone when your parents just had the chance to be with you.]

I'm just thankful no one's hurt and, well, I wasn't married to anyone else.

[Oh, Minato can just imagine the trouble he had to face if what happened was otherwise.]

I know it was but it still happened y'know? [Dad he slept in a bed with a girl. A girl who is his friend. And let's not go into any other things ok??]

I don't wanna get married yet, I've got to become Hokage first! [robes before ho's, man. But- that last part makes him stop and think. He can just imagine how mad his Mom would be. Wow.]
