[四] Action/Video April 3rd

[Action: Early morning; Uzumaki House]

[After waking up somewhere in the forest and getting his bearings, the first thing Naruto did before anything else was head home. His memories were fuzzy- he had been walking through the village presumably the night before when some weird metal-people-things attacked him out of nowhere. Weird. He'd deal with that later though, because he got the feeling that after being out all night, even if it wasn't his fault, he was about to get one hell of a yelling once he set foot inside the house.

Entering the family home and closing the door behind him he waits, listening out for any noise or signs of movement. When it seems as though nobody is up yet (Geez did they just go to bed and sleep peacefully when he had been knocked out in a forest??) he begins to make his way up the stairs, calling out but not too loudly.]

Mom? ....Dad? Oi, you guys here?

[Action: Afternoon; Convenience Store]

[After everything had been sorted out at home and Naruto figured out what exactly had happened, he decided to go pay a visit to the guys in the convenience store. Hopefully Shikamaru wouldn't chew him out too badly, it wasn't his fault but being missing meant someone had to fill in and do the extra work in his place. Or maybe.. someone else was hired to take his place?? Dammit, Shikamaru.

Deciding so stick around and help out, Naruto can be found in the store for the remainder of the afternoon, helping out stocking up some shelves or just hanging out behind the counter helping himself to multiple Mountain Dew slurpees.]

[The journals are graced with a view of some sort of shop- noticeable as being the convenience store to anyone who frequents it- as Naruto props the journal up in front of him.]

Hey, do any of you guys know what those robot things are that come for people? That's what someone said they're called, they look like weird, metal people.

I remember fighting some, and having weird dreams before I woke up, but apparently they kidnapped me?! I was gone for weeks y'know!

Where do those guys take you? And what do they do anyway? They'd better not have done anything weird to me, or they're gonna pay!

Whatever he wants she's pulling out all the pots and pans and they might as well be banging them with spoons or something to alert the village Naruto is back.

Because they basically asked the whole village if they've seen Naruto and they should know he's back]

No, I had to throw away Naruto's leftover ramen the other day.

[She says it distractedly, remembering how much it hurt to toss it out because Naruto couldn't eat it and she couldn't keep it in there forever it was starting to smell :C]

Ramen? Yeah! Yeah!!

[His face lights up in the way it always does when ramen gets suggested-- only for it to fall again when Kushina says no. No ramen?!]

You threw all my ramen away?!

[ALL OF IT?! Were they really that mad at him for being gone?!]

[LOOK IF SHE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO COME BACK

But it's like over a week old sitting in the fridge it was starting to smell. Do you want bad poops?]

Just one bowl! It was over a week old, ya know!

..A week? I didn't have any ramen in the fridge.

I made it the night you disappeared. A week ago.

[Finally he gets it] I'VE BEEN GONE A WEEK?!

YOU DIDN'T KNOW?!

[pause

much more calmly;]

....I thought I'd only been gone for the night.

[A WEEK...

WAT..]

... I wouldn't throw ramen away if it was only a day old. That's a waste.

[PROOF]

[Instantly believes it, not only because it's his mom but he knows she wouldn't waste ramen, just like he wouldn't.]

...How come I don't remember anything, then? [This is serious]

Was I knocked out int he forest this whole time?!

[bELIEVEs....... IT

She's quiet again, unsure. If he was knocked out in the forest, she sure as shit would have found him.]

[She frowns, upset now.]

The Malnosso must have done something to you like before.

Here have another hug before she leans back and presses a hand to his forehead, closing her eyes to sense his chakra. It feels the same as always.]

I'm definitely contacting Sakura.

Those guys... [After all the shit they've pulled before, it isn't a stretch. Unlike before though, he doesn't remember any of it.]

Sakura-chan? [He returns the hug, though he's more focused on why Sakura's coming over.]

D'you think they did something to me?

[SAKURA CHAN your future girlfriend. Or so Kushina is quietly hoping.]

If they did, we're going to fix it.

But you should talk to her anyway so she knows you're okay too. [For a second, she looks a little sheepish.]

And the rest of your friends. We're not the only ones that were worried about you.

..I'll let them know I'm back. After breakfast. [He doesn't want friends to worry unnecessarily.]

I agree with your mother, Naruto. [On all things she raised.]

Visiting Sakura and your friends is a wise thing to do. But you're also right, we can do that after breakfast. I can even accompany you if you want.

[His attention turns from watching Kushina gather things for breakfast, to Minato there beside him.]

...Yeah, we can go together. I wanna eat first though!

[Her lips quirk in triumph despite herself when they both say 'after breakfast.' She would still make sure he went out to reassure everyone while keeping tabs on him the whole time so he didn't disappear without her knowing. Again.

So she sets about the stove cooking food for her boys, a lot more happy than she's been the past week. Feeling a lot more... complete. She even hums as quietly as she can to herself as she works.]

[Naruto slides into a chair at the table, not doing much other than resting on his elbows and watching Kushina as she gets on with cooking their food. Now that he has a moment to calm down he still feels pretty tired after- well, whatever it was that happened. Maybe he'll have a nap before going out.]

Did anything happen while I wasn't here?

[The humming stops.]

There was a festival. Aang thought of it. It was to celebrate one of his previous lives, Yangchen. She was the Avatar before him. Then some of us released lanterns into the sky, as a way to say goodbye to the people that aren't here in Luceti anymore. It was pretty to see them all in the sky, like new stars.

[Like she thought Naruto was.]

Shikamaru and I played a game too. It wasn't really a game though until I told him to try. He was asking what someone to say to someone who just arrived here and didn't know what was happening. He said it was a game but then he admitted it was just to gather information. I told him to try again and he acted like some weird host and asked me questions that were pretty difficult.

I hate tests.

[Then she switches to Shikamaru and he grins just a little bit listening about their conversation.]

Sounds like Shikamaru. The difficult questions I mean, sometimes I don't get what he's saying but he usually explains it after. [By dumbing it down a lot for him ok ok]
