[ It's at that very moment that Kakashi decides he has to have it, has to get a taste of it, of Naruto, and his hands slide from the boy's shoulders down to press against his chest as he starts to walk Naruto back, up towards the tree. ]

You know, Naruto...

[ The words come out almost a purr, dangerous and soft. ]

There's something else I'd like to give you.

[He'd been shoved away which he more or less expected, and hadn't given it much after-thought until Kakashi's hands moved to his chest and they were slowly moving backwards.

It was at that point his head shot up, confused, to look at his sensei, but any questions were lost on the tip of his tongue because something else, something more important needed to be focused on right now.

SINCE WHEN DID SENSEI BECOME HOT??

Or more accurately, since when did Naruto find him absolutely captivating to look at? They take another step back and he brings his arms up again, this time clutching at the fabric over Kakashi's elbows. And he's still staring at the older ninja because he can't not and as Kakashi speaks, Naruto's eyes drift down to gaze at the movement of lips under the mask.

It is far from the first time the blond wished Kakashi would take that stupid thing off his face, but unlike all those other times this one may not be entirely innocent in nature.]

Wh-what is it?

[ The strength inside Naruto, the kind of hope he's able to inspire within so many, even within Kakashi who thought he would never be able to truly hope again, to believe in anything other than the certainty of death, the endless march towards oblivion that seemed to be the fate of all shinobi -- it's what makes Naruto truly beautiful. What makes him so special, and draws everyone to him.

Sometimes Kakashi doesn't know how Naruto could possibly ever have been his student, when all Kakashi's ever been good at is breaking things, not molding them into something truly spectacular. And yet, Naruto is everything Kakashi is not, has become this incomparably strong young man who Kakashi is immensely proud of, and now all he can see is how much Naruto's grown. How strong he's become.

There's something so fucking sexy about that strength, Kakashi's starting to realizing as he stalks forward, and shoves Naruto against the tree.

For a moment, he just looks down at the boy, and then in a sudden flow of motion, Kakashi's body closes in hard and fast, and he has one hand over Naruto's eyes as his other pulls down his mask, mouth crashing down on Naruto's. ]

[He watches Kakashi's hand move up towards his mask and there's that moment where all previous thoughts are pushed aside in favour of maybe now I can see his fucking face but fingers are covering his eyes before he can do anything about it.

Before he can muster up a protest there are lips moving against his own and he finds himself no longer caring about masks and faces, and as his hands grip at Kakashi's arms a little tighter he tilts his head slightly to gain a better angle and respond to the kiss.]

[ The kiss is rough, bruising in intensity. Kakashi's tongue flicks past the curve of Naruto's lips as one hand comes up to cup the boy's face, deepening the kiss as he pins Naruto more firmly against the tree. It doesn't even occur to him or really matter that anyone could walk past them and potentially see this, when he's too swept up in the kiss, which does taste a bit like ramen. ]

[The kiss is rough but good and at this moment, happily letting Kakashi take control, Naruto is completely swept up in it.

A hand slides up around Kakashi's neck, clutching and tugging at the fabric of the mask that is usually pulled up over his face and as Naruto feels his sensei's tongue glide over his lips he gasps, parting them further in way of an invitation as he wants to experience both the pleasure of deepening the kiss further and properly tasting his sensei's mouth.]

[ There's a part of Kakashi that tells him this is wrong. That says he shouldn't be doing this, shouldn't be pinning Naruto against a tree, dripping his tongue into his student's mouth.

But that part is silenced by the overwhelming need to touch and taste Naruto, to deepen the kiss with his tongue brushing against his student's, as one knee finds its way shoving between Naruto's legs, pressing against the rough bark of the tree. And when Naruto gasps, Kakashi inhales, breathing in that sound which shoots right down through him, curling hot and fast. He wants to hear more of it, hear Naruto panting against his mouth. He wants to make him moan, and hear his name on Naruto's lips as he comes.

(And really he shouldn't be thinking any of this at all, but Kakashi doesn't give a fuck when he has Naruto kissing him back, inviting him to take more.) ]

[His own tongue slides against the other, enticing it to stay as he takes in the taste of Kakashi's mouth. It's minty, fresh, not what he expected despite never spending a single moment pondering the taste and aromas of the man up until now.

He's still trying to take it all in, to allow his mind to catch up with what's going on when there's a leg pressing against him between his own and there's a soft thud as the bag of gifts Naruto had still been holding slips out of his hand and to the floor, forgotten about in favour of grasping at Kakashi's flak jacket as if it will somehow pull him even closer.]

[ Kakashi's dragged even more flush against Naruto and he hums into the kiss, teeth nipping lightly at Naruto's lower lip as his thumb sweeps across the ridge of his student's cheekbone. He wants more -- more than just a kiss. And it's starting to occur to him that maybe they need to take this somewhere a little warmer. A little more private.

He breaks the kiss softly to suck in a breath. ]

Mm, Naruto, I think we--

[ And just like that, something snaps.

Kakashi's punched in the face by the cold, hard snap of reality, of Naruto's mouth just under his, of the situation they're in -- his body, flush against his student's, knee pushed between the boy's legs.

Minato's going to kill him.

Kakashi gasps in shock and yanks his mask up as he staggers back away from Naruto, staring at him in some sort of wide-eyed panic. Before Naruto can even get a word out, Kakashi raises his fingers up in a seal and shunshins the fuck out of there in a puff of smoke and snow. ]

[They part and Naruto frowns at the loss of contact, brow forrowing under Kakashi's hand as he listens to whatever it is Kakashi wants to tell him.

But then it hits him, like a bucket of cold ice and he gasps again but not from pleasure, this time it is from pure shock as his mind clears and the harsh reality of what just happened makes itself known to him.

Naruto's hands jolt away from his sensei almost as if touching him is going to pass on some incurable illness and he tries to step back, not that he can move back any further against the tree, he had been pinned there pretty well (thanks for the reminder, self.)

By the time he is able to open his eyes and figure out what the fuck to even say Kakashi has already disappeared, leaving Naruto to slump against the tree and deal with the shock and mortification of it all.]
