The alliance?

[He'd heard the basic plans, both from the network discussion and the fact that he lives in the Hokage's house. Kakashi stating that he wants him to play an important role though, that gets him staring up at his sensei all wide-eyed.]

Me? Really? What do you want me to do? [Does he get a super cool alliance title??]

[ Kakashi nods. ]

I think you would make a great ambassador for the Luceti Joint Forces and Community Projects.

[ Yeah that's a big long name but a few certain someones disliked the idea of the word "alliance," so big title it is. ]

How does that sound?

Ambassador? For the Luceti Joint Forces and Communi- do I have to say all that, it's stupid. Can't we just call it the alliance?

[Name aside that does sound super important and already he is grinning.]

Of course I'll do it! I'll start today! I won't let you down, Kakashi-sensei!

[Wait for it...]

What does an Ambassador do exactly?

[ Kakashi makes an amused sound, having more or less expected that exact reaction from Naruto. ]

Well, Naruto, it's simple. All you have to do is make friends and learn more about them. If you think they could contribute significantly by helping us out in battle, or if they're really smart, have experience with war, and could help us come up with strategy, then maybe they would make a good ally to have for the Joint Forces.

Since the Community Projects are just things we do to improve the quality of life in Luceti, such as building a community center, or putting on a festival or something along those lines, anyone can participate.

Does that sound like something you'd like to do?

[He listens to everything Kakashi says.

Making friends, that is something he tends to do a lot anyway, and he already has a fair few new ones here in Luceti. Judging which ones would be good for the alliance, or might want to help out in more civilian ways is something he can easily do. ]

Yeah, I'll do it!

[ Kakashi gives Naruto's shoulder a squeeze. ]

Great. I'm sure you'll do a good job.

I won't let you down, Kakashi-sensei!

So what do I do if I find someone? Tell them to come see you, or should I tell you or--?

[He doesn't have to write reports does he?]

Well, Naruto, you can show them my post, or you can ask them to talk to me or your father. Or, you can set up a meeting if you'd like. That's probably the easiest thing to do.

Okay, got it!

[What he actually ends up doing will probably depend on the person he is talking to at the time.]

[ A beat. ]

Another thing you might want to do is think about anyone who you're friends with already who might be good for the alliance. It might be good for you to reach out to them sooner, rather than later, since we want to get things off the ground as soon as possible.

You mean people like Goku? He's really strong- and he said something about fighting in wars before. [As well as magical wish granting balls ???]

I'll think about who I already know here, and see if they're interested!

[ Kakashi nods. ]

I don't know who this Goku is, but if you think he'd help, then it'd be a good idea for you to talk to him about it. We can use all the help we can get~

[ The slightest of pauses, for dramatic effect, as Kakashi raises a hand and drops it down on Naruto's shoulder. ]

Ambassador-san~

[ Okay he's not really gonna call Naruto that, but he can have a little fun, right? ]

[Kakashi may not be too serious about it, but the title gets Naruto to grin.]

Got it! I'm gonna go ask now, I'll let you know later!

[And he's off! Except he only gets a couple feet away before stopping to turn back around.]

Uh.. there wasn't anything else you wanted to talk about, right?

No, that's it. I'll see you around.

[ And he waves Naruto off. ]
