[四] Action/Video April 3rd

[Action: Early morning; Uzumaki House]

[After waking up somewhere in the forest and getting his bearings, the first thing Naruto did before anything else was head home. His memories were fuzzy- he had been walking through the village presumably the night before when some weird metal-people-things attacked him out of nowhere. Weird. He'd deal with that later though, because he got the feeling that after being out all night, even if it wasn't his fault, he was about to get one hell of a yelling once he set foot inside the house.

Entering the family home and closing the door behind him he waits, listening out for any noise or signs of movement. When it seems as though nobody is up yet (Geez did they just go to bed and sleep peacefully when he had been knocked out in a forest??) he begins to make his way up the stairs, calling out but not too loudly.]

Mom? ....Dad? Oi, you guys here?

[Action: Afternoon; Convenience Store]

[After everything had been sorted out at home and Naruto figured out what exactly had happened, he decided to go pay a visit to the guys in the convenience store. Hopefully Shikamaru wouldn't chew him out too badly, it wasn't his fault but being missing meant someone had to fill in and do the extra work in his place. Or maybe.. someone else was hired to take his place?? Dammit, Shikamaru.

Deciding so stick around and help out, Naruto can be found in the store for the remainder of the afternoon, helping out stocking up some shelves or just hanging out behind the counter helping himself to multiple Mountain Dew slurpees.]

[The journals are graced with a view of some sort of shop- noticeable as being the convenience store to anyone who frequents it- as Naruto props the journal up in front of him.]

Hey, do any of you guys know what those robot things are that come for people? That's what someone said they're called, they look like weird, metal people.

I remember fighting some, and having weird dreams before I woke up, but apparently they kidnapped me?! I was gone for weeks y'know!

Where do those guys take you? And what do they do anyway? They'd better not have done anything weird to me, or they're gonna pay!

[Yep, that is pretty much what's lagging Red.]

I'm Red! And yeah, being kidnapped and all the stuff that we'll have to do is bad, but all the different people here at least make it interesting.

Like everybody thinking what's normal in your world being totally bizarre!

Yeah, I met some really cool people here you know? Like- some pirates, then there were these guys that could fly! And I haven't met anyone here from another place that has ninjas like we do.

What's your world like?

We've got ninjas! Or, there's a guy where I was before I came here that's meant to be a ninja, but I haven't met him. But they're like... guys who can disappear before your eyes, right!?

Yeah! There's loads of ways a ninja can just disappear, usually it's probably a clone, or they're using kawarimi no jutsu to swap with something else and hide!

So that thing's like a substitute maker? Can you make it look like you too until it gets damaged?

Yeah! And if you're really cool like me you can make lots of 'em! Wanna see?!

[pokeboy]

Yeah!! Can my friends come and watch too?

[ oh boy oh boy. ]

Uh-- sure! Why not! Wanna meet by the battle dome thingy?!

[pokeboy]

Okay! We can go right now!

[believeit]

Yeah! I'll meet you there in a few minutes, be ready!

[pokeboy]

Okay! See you!

[ And as said Red will be coming from wherever he was before to the location. Whether Naruto has him beaten or not, Pikachu is accompanying him, gripped on top of his head.

Thankfully he knows what Naruto looks like! ]

[naruto is already there, bless ninja physics for being able to easily leap over buildings. but once he spots the guy, he gives a little wave and steps closer.]

Woah, what's that?! [Pointing to the Pikachu] Is it some sorta summon?!

[pokeboy]

[ Gosh dang those nimble feet. But oh, hi Naruto! ]

Oh, hey! This guy? [ He points over his hat. ] This is my buddy, Pikachu! I've brought two more with me in pokéballs. He's a pokémon!

[ That totally explains it, right! Pikachu will give Naruto a wave of a paw. Pikaaaa. ]

What's a pokemon?!

[This is his first time hearing about them and wow, weird. It doesn't look like a normal animal at least. Maybe it's a weird foreign animal from this guy's world.]

What sorta animal is it? Pokeballs? Ehh?

[pokeboy]

[ Pikachu rolls his head this way and that against Red's hat, making a sound. Ohhh boy, one of these times again.

But Red laughs, and takes off the two pokéballs around his belt. He holds them out. ]

These are pokéballs! And in them are--!!

[ He's already pushing the buttons on them to enlarge them, next releasing a white light from inside when the lids open up. The lights go to the ground before Red, and out come Ivsaur and Snorlax from within.

Ivysaur makes a quick sound of greeting herself, stretching out her front legs while Snorlax yawns loudly, putting a paw in front of his massive mouth. Red comes between them, ready to make introductions. ]

This is Snorlax and this is Ivysaur! [ A hand motion out to each of them! ] And that's the pokémon they are too!

[ Ta daaaa! Snorlax may be looking like he's considering going back to sleep... ]

[The Pokemon come out and Naruto stares at them some more, all wide eyed and curious as he gets a proper look at them.]

Woooah! Where'd they come from?! Was that some sorta summon? They're weird looking, I haven't seen animals like them before!

[pokeboy]

They're not weird; they're just different from your creatures! And you just saw where they came from. [ he shows one of the balls again ] In here!

[ Anyway! He puts the balls back. ] They're my friends and my partners. We're all a team.

[believeit]

i aon't seen anything like them before, so of course they're weird looking. [So there.]

[They look kinda cool though.]

A team? So you like- do missions and such with them, then?

[pokeboy]

Missions? [ Uhh. ] Like what kind?

[believeit]

I dunno! Missions!

[Then he remembers that not every world works the same as his.]

Or.. whatever it is you do, y'know! I'm a ninja, so we do missions for people!

[pokeboy]

[ Ohhh, ninja-y stuff... like being sneaky! ]

Well- we're kinda on a mission? A personal mission. We battle gym leaders and other trainers to be the best!

[ -- an idea! ] How about if you show us what you can do, we'll show you what we can do!

[believeit]

That sounds like a pretty cool mission!! [Except:] What's a gym leader?

Yosh! You go it! What kinda thing do you wanna see? Just anything?!

[pokeboy]

They're experienced trainers! You get badges from them that show your skill, and if you have enough, you can take on the top trainers of the region. And then you can get the highest title of them all - the Champion title.

Yeah! I don't really know what a ninja does for real... so show me the most coolest things! You fight bad guys, don't you?

[believeit]

Oh! So it's kinda like a rank? In Konoha we have Genins, then you get promoted to Chuunin, and then Jounins are on top but the person that leads everyone is the Hokage! So kinda like that?

I'm gonna be Hokage one day you know! [Said as he forms some hand seals, and a second later in poofs of smoke three clones of himself appear beside him.]

A Champion doesn't lead anyone. They're just the best! And you can lose the title too. Your ranks sound like... a club? [ He has no idea, really.

But as he sees the clones appear, astonishment crosses his face. The pokémon mutter as well, with Pikachu moving in to touch one of them to see if they're real! ]

Woah! Are they the clones you were talking about!? [ Hey hey Red wants to try touching one too! ... Or more like see if his hand will go through them if he tries to wave it through them!? Just like a hologram! ]
